Meet Dr. Sumin Hahm, DDS

Dr. Hahm began his academic journey at the University of California, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, where he was recognized on the Dean’s Honors List. With a passion for periodontal health and patient-centered care, he is committed to providing top-tier treatment and staying at the forefront of dental innovations.

Dr. Hahm is a dedicated periodontist with a strong foundation in dentistry and biomedical sciences. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. He then pursued advanced training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he obtained a Master of Medical Sciences (MMSc) and a Certificate in Periodontology.

Beyond dentistry, he earned his Private Pilot Certificate in 2022. Flying has reinforced his ability to communicate efficiently—an essential skill he integrates into clinical practice when working with team members and patients. With the freedom and flexibility of flight, he aspires to one day reach remote communities to provide periodontal care where it’s needed most.
