Meet Dr. Carol Rice, DMD
A dentist since 1993, Dr. Carol Rice joined the practice in 2024. A graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, she is a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. Among her many accomplishments is her experience as a clinical consultant for The Dental Advisor, a respected reviewer of products related to oral health. “My patient care philosophy emphasizes a holistic approach, focusing on individualized care tailored to each patient’s unique needs and concerns,” she says. “Active listening, clear communication, and educating patients about their oral health — these are essentials, as are building trust and fostering a comfortable, respectful environment.”
Dr. Rice’s wide-ranging areas of expertise include examinations, diagnostics, teeth restorations, and implants. Her busy day includes collaborations with dental assistants and hygienists, managing patient records, and keeping updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and practices. Among the many aspects of the practice Dr. Rice appreciates are the exceptional care in a comfortable environment we provide, our experienced team, and our focus on prevention and patient education which promote long-term oral — and therefore, overall — patient health.
She also appreciates our use of advanced dental technology, such as the CEREC machine, which uses 3-D imaging software and computer aided design and manufacturing tools to create customized dental restorations in a single visit.
When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Rice enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, and other regular exercise routines. A passionate cook, she also enjoys reading and participating in community events.
